Our Care Services
Rehabilitation and Therapy
Following a hospitalization, surgery, or acute medical event, many people need rehabilitation to improve their function levels before returning home. That’s where rehabilitation services at Mill Run come in. Our experienced, interdisciplinary therapy team is ready to formulate a personalized care plan to help you meet your recovery goals.
Our comprehensive therapy services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies. We work with you to help you regain independence and mobility so that when you return home or move to the next level of care, you’ll have a renewed sense of confidence and an improved level of function.
We also offer outpatient rehabilitation, which is for people who need some type of physical, occupational, or speech therapy but are able to and choose to live at home while traveling to a rehabilitation center to receive services.
Outpatient rehab requires an order from your primary care physician and insurance approval prior to scheduling.
Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care
If your parent is struggling with multiple activities of daily living (such as walking, eating, dressing, or bathing), or has other complex health concerns, long-term care can provide the support they need on a daily basis.
We offer Mill Run residents assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, proper nutrition, and physician visits to ensure the resident’s medical needs are being met.
As with all Mill Run residents and rehabilitation patients, long-term care residents are welcome and encouraged to participate in community activities and events. They also have access to Mill Run services and amenities.
Cranberry Park Assisted Living
Assisted living is a residential option for seniors who need a little assistance with daily activities. Optalis assisted living communities offer well-appointed senior apartments, housekeeping, meals, personal care, and support services as needed.
An assisted living community is not a nursing home — it offers a different lifestyle. An assisted living community is for seniors who need a little assistance but are, for the most part independent, while a nursing home or skilled nursing facility is more appropriate for seniors who have serious medical needs.
An assisted living community offers medical and living assistance as well, but they’re also focused on providing a social environment with planned activities, physical wellness programs, and other convenient support services that help seniors continue to enjoy active, fulfilling lifestyles.

For a daily rate plus a level of care charge, Assisted Living Rehab & Recovery offers a comfortable, fully-furnished apartment suite alongside 24/7 nursing support and personal care assistance.

We provide furnished respite suites in both our skilled nursing and assisted living levels of care. Your loved one will have access to a nursing team 24 hours a day, with a personalized plan of care. It’s typically best to plan ahead for a respite care stay, but we understand that it’s not always possible. If an urgent need arises, feel free to contact us to check our availability.
Hospice Care

Dining Services
A good meal can make all the difference. At Mill Run, meals can nurture people physically, socially, and emotionally. That’s why we serve delicious meals in dignified dining rooms, where residents can enjoy time with each other or guests.
We have both seasonal and bistro menus to give residents plenty of choices. In addition to being tasty, the food is also nutritious thanks to the input of our registered and licensed dietitians, who work hand in hand with our dining services manager.
Other aspects of food and dining services include medical nutrition therapy, room service, snacks and pantries, guest meals, and coffee service.
