Our managed care team works closely with each patient’s primary care physician to coordinate medical care, manage chronic health conditions, and ensure timely access to medical services. This service is suitable for those who require complex medical care and ongoing support to maintain their health and well-being.
Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapy services at Lakeland are designed to help patients with breathing difficulties caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, or other respiratory conditions. Our respiratory therapists work closely with each resident to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication, oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, and education on lifestyle changes.

Featuring a creative menu based on resident feedback, your meal can be enjoyed in our beautifully decorated dining room or, if you prefer to dine in your room, we will be happy to provide you with in-room dining.
We offer delicious seasonal menus which feature cold, fresh fruits and salads in the summer and hot, hearty stews in the winter. We plan special meals celebrating holidays and our diverse ethnic backgrounds. Many of our meals are home-cooked, including our soups which are a resident favorite. We give special attention to individualized preferences by providing all our guests with a select menu and write-on options, as well as frequent visits from our team of clinical dietitians.

“My Father-in-law has been at Lakeland in hospice for over a year. I have never witnessed such amazing hospitality and care in my life. He loves Pepsi and Cola so much, that when the supply my wife and I left for him ran out, the amazing nurses have bought him a cola out of their own pocket. He isn’t so fond of doing activities, never really was. But this stunning staff will convince him to join everybody else in the morning by bribing him with a little sweets (: . (he has a huge sweet tooth). They know he does better throughout the day, after being around the other patients in the morning. When I visit, I let the staff know I want to feed him his meal. And all the food I’ve witnessed smelled and looked so good! It made me hungry! Although I am bad at names and can’t remember his exact nurses. I can promise they CARE about their patients. The facility is clean and well cared for.”
