Respite care guests can participate in life enrichment activities, enjoy dining options, and leave the housekeeping and laundry tasks to the staff. A short-term stay may help make a transition to a senior living community easier should future needs require a change in care.
How Does Respite Care at Optalis Work?
Respite stays can vary from a few days to a few weeks. The Optalis team understands that your job as a caregiver can be physically and emotionally demanding, so we do our best to create a caring, comfortable environment that feels like home for your loved one.
We provide furnished respite suites in both our skilled nursing and assisted living levels of care. Your loved one will have access to a nursing team 24 hours a day, with a personalized plan of care.
